2024 ChicagoVGA Invitational Champion, Team Florida

The 2024 Chicago VGA Invitational was held on July 13th & 14th at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club! Team Florida, consisting of Andrew Nguyen, Danny Vu, Eric Huynh, Jay Bee, Khiem Luc, Peter Buno, Roger Epres, Tuan Le, and Vathana Norindr, emerged victorious! With a total net score of 1214.1, they edged out second-place Team Atlanta at 1217 and third-place Team Indiana at 1218.5. Well done, Team Florida! Make sure to spend the prize money wisely..

We also had some friendly competitions during the 2-Day event. The money for the prizes came from all the participants in each competition. Here’s the list of winners:

Roger Epres won the tournament with the lowest gross, finishing with a two-day total of 162. Katelyn Le and Chau Nguyen tied for second place, each with a total of 166.

Cuong Nguyen won the tournament with the lowest net, finishing with a two-day total of 141.2. Long Nguyen came in second with a total of 141.4, just a hair behind. Huan Bui took third place with a total of 144.8.

Anh Huan also made a hole-in-one on hole #4 of the Ravines course!

Team Atlanta edged out Team Florida for the lowest gross total among the top 5 players. They also won Cog Hill shirts from Team Motley for the lowest team net in the Saturday competition.
