CVGA October Tournament Results

We had 36 players teeing it up in the cold weather for the penultimate October tournament at Foxford Hills Golf Club in Cary, Illinois. Congratulations to our tournament champion, Christoper Nguyen for posting a gross of 78 and a winning net of 70.6. Well played Christopher. The A Flight winner went to Hoang Le with a gross score of 79 and net of 71.5. The B Flight winner was Paul Pham with a gross of 88 and a net of 71.3. The par-3 closest to the pin winners were Lang Nguyen, Ninh Ma, Noah Kemp and Tri Ngo. The Skins winners were Hoang, Paul, Chau Nguyen and Louny. Congratulations to all the winners. Binh Le continues to lead the CVGA Cup standing with one more tournament to go next month. Staying in second place is Nam Le. Hoang and Christoper are making a strong run at the cup coming in 3rd and 4th place. Rounding out the top five is David Bui. The cup will be decided next month at our final tournament at White Pines Golf Club. Note that the CVGA Cup final points total comprises of the top 7 scores out of 8 for each player so much can happen before we crown a new CVGA Cup Champion.
