CVGA June Tournament Results

Old man winter returned yesterday with rainy, cold and windy conditions but we persevered and had a great time with our 2-man best ball tournament at Steeple Chase Golf Club. Congratulations to our winning teams of Binh Le and David Bui (A Flight) and Minh Nguyen and Paul Pham (B Flight). Binh and David shot an impressive 68 net to win the A Flight by 3 strokes while Minh and Paul shot a 72 net to win the B Flight buy just 1 stroke. The Par 3 closest to the pin winners were: Nicholas Dinh (#5), David (#7), Phil Nguyen (#11) and Paul (#16). Full results can be viewed here

Nam Le continues to lead in the Race of the CVGA Cup with 550 points followed by David with 420 and Minh at 415. Danny Nguyen and Colin Nguyen rounds out the Top 5 in CVGA Cup standings.

Next month’s tournament will be at Klein Creek Golf Club on July 9th. It will be a 2-man team competition with best ball for the front 9 and modified alternate shots for the back 9.
