2026 Season Opener March’s Tournament Results

We had 14 players braving the elements in our season opener at White Pines Golf Club in Bensenville, IL, on March 15, 2026. The weatherman didn’t cooperate, but that didn’t matter to Colin, who shot a 79 gross and won March’s tournament with a net of 70.4. That’s an impressive win to start the 2026 golfing season in Chicago. Dung Nguyen won the A Flight with a gross of 84 and a net of 74.0. Our newest member, Ken Nguyen, won the B Flight with a gross of 88 and a net of 74.0. Congratulations to all the winners.

The Skins game winners were Hoang Le, Lam Vo, Mark Nguyen, and Binh Le. 

With the win, Colin is our CVGA Cup leader at 250 points, followed by Dung and Ken at 200 points. Hoang is in 4th with 150 points, and Chau Nguyen and Vu Nguyen round out the top 5 at 125 points. The season just started, so it’s a long way to go before we crown the 2026 CVGA Cup champion.
