2024 CVGA November (Season Finale) Tournament Results

We had 22 golfers teed it up for the Season Finale tournament on Sunday, November 3rd at White Pines Golf Club. Congratulations to our November champion, Mark Nguyen, for overcoming the cold and rainy weather to win the tournament with a gross of 84 and net of 70.5. Well played Mark. Thai Dang was second overall and won the B Flight with a gross of 84 and net of 72.5. Chau Nguyen won the A Flight with gross of 78 and net of 73.2. The Par-3 closest to the pin winners were Tien Luong, David Bui, Minh Nguyen and Noah Kemp.

The Golden Dragons eked out a win by 0.4 points for the team competition with a net score of 309.5. The Pins Seekers came in second with a score of 309.9 followed by the Greens Hunters (310.3) and Saigon Sharks (323.5).

The 2024 CVGA Cup champion is David Bui with a total score of 1225. Coming in second place is Binh Le at 1145 points. At third place is Thai Dang at 1115 points. Congratulations to David, Binh and Thai.

The Team’s CVGA Cup winner is the Saigon Sharks with a total score of 525 points. In second place is the Pins Seekers at 425 points followed by the Golden Dragons at 375 and Green Hunters at 250. Congratulations to team captain, Colin Nguyen, and the entire Saigon Sharks team for winning the inaugural Team CVGA Cup.

Our final events, the Polar Classic 4-Clubs Challenge and Year-End Banquet, will be on Saturday, December 7th. The Polar Classic 4-Clubs Challenge will be held at White Pines Golf Club and the Year-End Banquet will be held at Pho Day in Schaumburg. Please register on the ChicagoVGA.org home page.
