Team Chicago Viet Reclaims the LaVi Cup

Congratulations to Team Viet on winning the 2026 LaVi Cup! This year’s annual match between Team Lao and Team Viet took place in rainy conditions at Klein Creek Golf Club in Winfield, Illinois. Team Viet secured a 15-5 victory, proving that a little rain couldn’t slow them down—though it seems the rain might have been Team Lao’s kryptonite.

A special shoutout to Minh for winning his first match in several years. Overall, it was a solid performance from Team Viet, while Team Lao will head back to the drawing board. Next year’s match will be held at Foxford Hills Golf Club. Many thanks to the team captains, Hoang for Team Viet and Van for Team Lao.
