Stage 1 — Group Stage (World Cup Style)
• Players: First 16 sign up
• Entry fee: $150 each (Zelle to VAGA NLT 25 August to confirmed the spot)
• Groups: 4 divisions (A, B, C, D) with 4 players each
• Format: Round-robin match play (will base on handicap)— each player faces all other players in their group (3 matches total).
Scoring System:
• Win = 3 points
• Halve = 1 point
• Loss = 0 points
Tiebreakers:
1. Total holes won across all 3 matches (“No Mercy” rule — bigger wins earn higher seeding).
2. Head-to-head result between tied players.
3. Sudden-death playoff for any remaining qualifying spots.
Advancement:
• The top two players from each group after 3 rounds advance to Stage 2.

I understand VAGA is for members to get to know each other and not to gambling. The entry fee will spread out to top 4. I think $150 entry is appropriate
This sounds fun and would love to join, but I am thinking ahead. What if I advanced and will not be available in Nov lol
November is just an estimated timeframe — the tournament could wrap up earlier or scheduled it later. If you make it to the final, you and your opponent can agree on any date to play your match. It doesn’t have to be in November.
