CVGA September Tournament Results

We had a pretty good turn out yesterday with 32 players teeing it up for the September tournament at Cog Hill Ravines. Congratulations to our tournament champion, Angelina Nguyen for posting a gross of 96 and a winning net of 73.3 barely edging out Binh Le by just 0.6 points. But all was not lost for Binh as he won the A Flight with a gross score of 80. Allen Van won the B Flight with a gross of 94 and net of 80.3 The Skins winners were Dung Nguyen, Colin Nguyen, Chi Le and Binh. Congratulations to all the winners. Full results can be viewed here

We have a new CVGA Cup leader with just two more tournaments to go. Binh has taken the lead with 845 points. Our previous leader, Nam Le, dropped to second with 770 points. Rounding out the top 5 are David Bui with 640 points, Chau Nguyen with 605 points and Danny Nguyen with 575 points. Note that the CVGA Cup final points total comprises of the top 7 scores out of 8 for each player so much can happen before we crown a new CVGA Cup Champion.
